The debut of “Cooking with Chef Joe Pergine” at the Four Points by Sheraton went off without a hitch! There I was on March 25th getting ready to show people how to make some of my favorite Italian dishes from scratch, and I must say I had a bit of nerves before taking the stage. But once I turned on the burners, I felt at home and ended up having a great time doing what I love to do best – COOK! With a captive audience and the creative juices flowing between the Braciole and the Chicken Saltimbocca, everyone was anxiously awaiting the opportunity to dig in! No meal is complete without dessert, so I sincerely hope everyone found the Limoncello Tiramisu as tasteful as I had intended. You can find all the ingredients for the recipes of these dishes at your local ACME, unless you prefer another grocery store.
Thank you, or Grazie (in Italian) for being part of the first ever Cooking Class with Chef Joe Pergine! Molto Grazie (Thank you very much) especially to Nadine, for being a doll and separating my eggs for me for the Chicken Saltimbocca. Took some time, but practice makes perfect- Keep crackin’ Nadine!
I hope to see you all at our next “Cooking with Chef Joe Pergine” on Thursday May 6, 2010 at 7pm where you will learn the secret to making Homemade linguine & Bolognese Sauce. Oh and don’t forget the cannoli!
Thanks again!!
Chef Joe Pergine
